New York, New York, what a wonderful town….

And wonderful it sure is, especially the food and drink scene. From fancy restaurants and rooftop bars to markets and traditional street food, New York City has it all. My Guide to St. Pete Beach, Florida

In February we spent a couple of days exploring a little section of the Gulf Coast of Florida. It was a delightful 48 hours spent wandering the beaches, eating ice cream and drinking local beers. The sky was blue, the sea was turquoise, the sand was white and the parks were truly beautiful. We stuck to the southern barrier islands to the west of St. Petersburg, namely Treasure Island, St Pete Beach and Fort de Soto.

There is so much to do in these beachside towns that you could probably spend a good week here and still not quite do everything! I’ve made a little guide to everything we experienced when we were there in the hopes of giving you a good starting point. Continue reading

Diagon Alley in Universal Studios’ Wizarding World of Harry Potter

If you’ve been reading for a while, then you know how much of a huge fangirl I am of Harry Potter. I have been ever since I was at school and I still am now. In fact, if anything, I love it more than ever.

It literally fills me with joy when I get to experience something that was part of the books and/or films or the inspiration behind it, so imagine how I felt getting to visit an immersive replica of Diagon Alley, complete with shops, The Leaky Cauldron and a giant fire breathing dragon.

The Amalfi Coast is an amazing place to visit and Sorrento is a gem of a town whatever the time of year. In summer you have incredible weather, although crowded I imagine, and during the winter it’s cooler but easier to explore.

A Year in the Life – 2017

Is it just me or has this year whizzed by in a flash?

As a child, I’m sure the space of time between the summer holidays was a never-ending year of school, but now as an adult that same space of time seems to last a nanosecond. I feel like I’m getting older way too fast! I have to say though, it may have been a quick year, but I made sure I packed it full.
