I can’t believe we’re in 2020 already, but luckily we still have a few more days of Christmas and sparkle before twelfth night is here.A great place to visit to get rid of those January blues is Anglesey Abbey, where they’ve decked out their manor house with a sixties style Christmas twist. It’s bluebell season!
Some of my local woodlands are carpeted in these beautiful blue flowers and this is the only time of the year to see them. Continue reading
It’s officially spring you guys!!!

Yes! Another year of travel is upon us and I can’t wait to get planning, Brexit be damned.
I will not let the unknown of ‘transport contracts within Europe’ ruin it for me. I shall make my travel master plan anyway and hope for the best!
I always find travel planning such an exciting time, but I always find myself lost with the amount of places I want to visit. I know that I can’t visit everywhere, so cutting it down to only a few places is always REALLY hard! Continue reading
If you saw my post a few weeks back, you’ll know that I made a fair few new food discoveries while I was home in Cambridge for the summer. One of those was Trinity.

Plus, I’ve also added one of my boyfriend’s new favourites that he genuinely couldn’t get enough of while we were there. I’d like to say that a couple of these places are not new discoveries, but the dishes are and they just had to be shared. Continue reading
Spring has, supposedly, sprung in the Northern Hemisphere, although I feel like the Beast from the East might have some other ideas!
England in the springtime is so beautiful – for the most part – full of flowers and colour and life. One of my favourite things to do on a sunny spring day is to go and explore somewhere outdoors so I can completely experience the change in season. The National Trust has a ton of great properties and open spaces to wander around in, so visiting one of those is always a good choice, mainly considering the fact that you know there’ll be a great big slice of cake waiting for you at the cafe at the end. A reward for all that walking you’re going to do. Continue reading
