About

Hi there, I’m Emma.

Originally I’m from Cambridge, England, but I was swept off my feet by a very handsome Peruvian man and am now living in one of the gastronomic capitals of the world: Lima, Peru. It’s a good job food and travel are two of my greatest passions, right?

I started this blog back in 2013 (under the name ‘A Slice of Peru’), to let my family know what I was up to on the other side of the world and it evolved into a guide to help other English speakers navigate this South American city. But as my life changed and I carried on exploring the world, I wanted to talk about things outside of the Peruvian bubble.

And so ‘The Little Edition’ was born.

Splitting my life between two continents has given me so many opportunities to explore and discover new places and things and I really want to share those experiences too, instead of just focusing on one location.

I want this to be a site for you to read if you are interested to learn more about the capital of Peru and what there is to enjoy when you visit here, but also for me to share other interests both here and abroad that might inspire you too!

So, if you enjoy roaming the world, baked goods, discovering amazing places to eat and Harry Potter as much as I do, or you just want to find out where the best ice cream in Lima is (it’s here), then carry on reading and I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll enjoy!

  1. Dear Emma,
Deeply appreciate your lovely article of your experience in Perupa’ti, we have shared it with our colleagues in the tourism sector in Peru and they wonder if they may use your photos and/or content to promote this new concept with their guests, including corresponding credits to you and/or your blog.
    All the best, Marlene

    1. Hello Marlene,
Thank you so much for your kind comments. Yes that would be absolutely fine with me. As long as I, and my blog, are credited for both content and photographs then I am more than happy to share them with you. Please send me a link to the final article or page so I can have a look!
      Kind Regards,
      Emma

And to finish.....
