These biscuits are the cutest little things.
It’s a real thing. I promise.

I literally cannot go an Easter without eating this beautiful invention. In Peru, you cannot find hot cross buns (along with Cadbury’s creme eggs and mini eggs), which makes me unbelievably sad, so I have my mum either bring them to me in Lima when she comes to visit or freeze them until I go home later in the year. Wow, so this week is a week celebrating the strongest women we know. All of us.
Yes. Today is International Women’s Day, when we as women, alongside continuously campaigning for equality and rights, can be celebrated, in all our walks of life, whatever we choose to do. However, this Sunday in the UK is Mother’s Day, when we say thank you to those specific women in our lives, our amazing mums, for all the work they’ve done for us over the years. And I do think that this Bill Granger recipe lends itself to an amazing Mother’s Day pressie. It’s handmade with love from you to her, plus they’re damn delicious. And who doesn’t like cookies?

I feel like I’m getting older way too fast! I have to say though, it may have been a quick year, but I made sure I packed it full. I was determined this year to make the most of all the opportunities I came across and I think I did pretty well. Continue reading
Travelling alone can be a daunting prospect but there are so many benefits from planning a solo trip. Whether it be a day trip away (a good way to take that first step), a city break, a two week holiday, working/studying abroad, or even a 6 month trip around the world, they can all offer you something unique and a way to explore your interests and individuality.
No joke. These are the best brownies in the whole world. Fact.
