Merry Christmas Eve!!
Or, actually, Merry Christmas Day to some of you already!
Every year on Christmas Day, my brother and I always end up drinking this little festive concoction. I think it’s become a bit of a tradition for us.
We spend the day drinking the classics, but in the evening we always manage to crack out the Disaronno. This ‘cocktail’, if you can really call it that (it has 2 ingredients), has become as much a part of my Christmas Day as the turkey, so it would seem unfair not to include it in my little Christmas recipe collection.
Cranberry is extra seasonal at this time of year and amaretto also has that festive quality to it, so these ingredients really do lend themselves to being drunk during the holiday season.
I put a little festive garnish on mine, to make it even more Christmassy, but you can completely leave it off if you want to!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmastime and enjoy the time you’re spending with family and friends.
