Happy Easter weekend! I know it’s been a while, but I thought I’d start back with something everyone loves. Chocolate cake!
Afternoon tea, for me, is quintessentially British and it’s the way we celebrate so many occasions. Who would say no to a spread of mini sandwiches and sweet treats with hot tea or champagne? Certainly not me!
Is it just me, or have you noticed that everyone has become a baker and a home chef during lockdown? It’s amazing what some time and lack of options will do for your culinary skills!
Our tiny garden is literally exploding with colour at the moment.
Happy Easter Monday!!!
I love a slice of warm toasty stollen at Christmas and so I made it my mission this year to bake my own. And after tasting a slice of this you’ll definitely be glad you did too! In parts of Europe, stollen appears in every household around Christmas time (I assume in other countries too!) […]
So, we now have an ice cream maker in the house…. And my freshly picked strawberries gave us the perfect excuse to try it out.
How is it July already? I feel like it was only 2 minutes ago that I was writing my travel goals for this year, and here we are six months into 2019. Craziness!
Oh Canada. Every time I visit, my stomach leaves full and very, very happy.
Here we are at the end of another year. Part of me feels like January was about two seconds ago and the other part of me has completely forgotten what happened at the beginning of 2018.
Merry Christmas Eve!! Or, actually, Merry Christmas Day to some of you already!
You need to make these biscuits. They are melt in the mouth delicious (literally).
